Time is running out to register for the 2009 IRSC Business Women’s Summit. Hosted by the SBDC and CCTI at IRSC the Summit will be held at the IRSC Kight Center on Oct. 30th from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. The event is designed to empower local business women. The summit is targeted to provide support to local businesses run by women and to give them additional tools for success. The three guest speakers scheduled to share information on what made them successful and how you can learn from them are Kelley Dunn, NewsChannel 5 anchorwoman; Kathy Peterson, co-host of Lifetime TV’s “The Balancing Act,” and Susan Mazza, motivational speaker and author of “Random Acts of Leadership.”
The summit will also have sessions in social media, legal issues in the workplace, entrepreneurship and flexibility in business, and marketing your business.
Anyone may attend the summit, which costs $149 and includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon dessert, networking and door prizes, organizers said.
